We collect the minimum amount of data needed to provide a seamless video calling experience. This data includes RTCICECandidates & RTCSessionDescription, which are required to establish WebRTC video calls.
This data is not stored in any persistent database — it is removed from the server as soon as you leave the call by closing the browser window. All media streams are encrypted using Secure Real-time Transport Protocol (SRTP).
Chat messages and file sharing use WebRTC's RTCDataChannel to transfer data directly peer-to-peer. All data is secured with Datagram Transport Layer Security (DTLS), providing SSL-equivalent security.
Meeting recordings are stored temporarily in your browser as a Blob, then downloaded directly to your device. Recordings never touch our servers.
kyahaalhai is purely peer-to-peer — your video, audio, chat, and files are never sent to or stored on our servers.
